Wes Craven comenta os problemas durante a produção de 'Pânico 4'
Ao longo da produção de 'Pânico 4' (Scream 4), houve uma enxurrada de boatos de que o roteirista Ehren Kruger ('A Chave Mestra', 'Pânico 3') teria sido chamado para reescrever o roteiro de Kevin Williamson ('Pânico').
Agora, Wes Craven falou ao Total Film sobre o que realmente aconteceu.
"Durante a produção, eu twittei que não estava mais no controle do roteiro, e estava dizendo a verdade", lembra ele.
"Ainda é um filme meu, mas não inteiramente, porque não é um roteiro que tenho o controle. O estúdio teve muita liberdade para colocar o que queria no roteiro. Meu trabalho foi trazer toda a experiência, conhecimento e criatividade que eu podia", disse.
"Houve um período instável, quando o roteiro começou a passar das mãos de Kevin para as de Ehren. Eu assinei para dirigir um roteiro de Kevin, e infelizmente isso foi alterado durante as filmagens. Mas certamente é de Kevin o conceito, as idéias e a premissa"
Craven ainda foi questionado sobre os possível 'Pânico 5 e 6'.
"Quando eu e Kevin nos reunimos para o quarto filme, ele me mostrou suas ideias para os próximos dois, e eu achei realmente fascinante. Eu toparia, dependendo do roteiro. É fascinante poder ter duas trilogias em uma carreira", finalizou.
Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox e David Arquette estão no elenco, que ainda conta com Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella, Anthony Anderson, Marielle Jaffe, Adam Brody, Marley Shelton, Mary McDonnell, Alison Brie e Erik Knudsen. As atrizes Anna Paquin ('True Blood'), Kristen Bell ('Quando em Roma'), Shenae Grimes ('90210'), Lucy Hale ('Pretty Little Liars') e Britt Robertson ('Life Unexpected') terão participações especiais. Wes Craven (trilogia 'Pânico') retorna à direção.
A trilogia arrecadou mais de U$ 600 milhões ao redor do mundo.
