O jogo passará por eventos dos quatro longas da série e terá mais de 70 personagens jogáveis, distribuídos em 20 níveis. O lançamento aconteceria para PCs, PlayStation 3 e Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, DS e PSP em maio, junto com o quarto filme, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, mas foi adiado para o meio do ano.
