Legend of the Seeker é Cancelada
A série distribuida pela ABC Disney era exibida nos EUA por canais regionais, sendo que grande parte desses canais pertecem ao grupo Tribune Broadcasting. Pois esse grupo confirmou ao site Spoiler TV que não irá renovar a série para uma terceira temporada. Segundo rumores, o grupo passa por dificuldades financeiras e o custo em manter a série no ar não é compensado pela baixa audiência.
Filmada na Nova Zelândia, os responsáveis precisariam encontrar outros canais para poder continuar a produção. Fãs da série já começaram uma petição online para convencer a ABC Disney a encontrar canais que possam estar interessados em dar continuidade à série.
Criada por Sam Raimi com base no livro "The Sword of Truth", de Terry Goodking, a série "Legend of the Seeker" estreou em 2008, com produção de Raimi, Robert Tapert, Joshua Donen, Ned Nalle e Kenneth Biller.
A história apresenta o reino de Midlands, protegido pelos Confessors, um grupo capaz de tocar a alma das pessoas, conferindo-lhes poderes mágicos.Quando o reino é invadido, Kahlan (Bridget Regan) viaja até Westland para pedir ajuda. Lá, encontra o jovem Richard (Craig Horner), que a leva a Zeddicus (Bruce Spence), um grande mago. Richard acaba descobrindo ter também poderes e, com a ajuda de Kahlan e Zedd, inicia uma luta contra Darken Rahl (Craig Parker)
