The Tree of Life: Sean Penn e Brad Pitt em novas fotos do esperado filme de Terrence Malick
O trailer de The Tree of Life, o novo filme do cultuado cineasta Terrence Malick (O Novo Mundo), estrelado por Brad Pitt e Sean Penn, já está sendo exibido hoje nos EUA, anexado às cópias de Cisne Negro. Enquanto o vídeo não sai online, mais duas fotos fortam divulgadas pela Fox Searchlight.
A maior parte da trama - que vai desde o Big Bang até o futuro - se passa nos anos 1950. O protagonista é Jack (McCracken), o mais velho entre três irmãos de uma família texana, que está aprendendo as coisas da vida. Tree of Life começa com a morte de um dos irmãos, a família em desespero, e então mostra o crescimento de Jack (Penn), deprimido, no mundo moderno.
Pitt e Jessica Chastain fazem, respectivamente, o Sr. e a Sra. O'Brien, os pais de Jack. Malick rodou no Texas com o diretor de fotografia mexicano Emmanuel Lubezki, que trabalhou em O Novo Mundo.
The Tree of Life estreia nos EUA em 25 de maio de 2011. No Brasil, dois dias depois, em 27 de maio.
